Admissions Procedures 

Students desiring to enter Wheatland Nursing Academy & Allied Health in West Palm Beach, FL should contact the Admissions Office or log on to our website at  ...........................to submit an application. Students should submit their applications well in advance of the date they desire to enter the university to permit proper scheduling and assure availability. Local applicants are encouraged to visit the Institute in person. WNA uses a rolling admissions policy. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance or rejection to the Institute. All Admissions services are conducted on an equal opportunity/equal access basis.

General Admission Requirements:

• Application Fee.
• Completed Admission Application form.
• Official high school graduate transcript or GED equivalency certificate. These must be sent directly from the high school to Wheatland Nursing Academy & Allied Health. No hand carried or faxed transcripts
  are accepted.
• Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. These must be sent directly from those institutions to Lutheran School of Nursing. No hand carried or faxed transcripts are accepted.
• Passing score on a reading comprehension assessment (waived for minimum ACT score of 20 or bachelor's degree)
• Passing scores on the Math Entrance Exams (waived for ACT math subcore of 18 or better).
• Three Estimate of Suitability Forms completed by someone other than a direct family member who has known the applicant for a minimum of
  six months.
• Typed two-page, double spaced essay, using 12-point font, in Standard English, indicating why you are interested in attending Wheatland Nursing Academy & Allied Health and becoming a registered nurse.
  

*High School graduation is determined by the following criteria: High school must be recognized as a secondary school in the state where it is located; the transcript must include an official date of graduation.

Additional Admission Requirements for LPN-RN Bridge Track: 

• ACT score of 20 or comparable SAT score or 2.5 cumulative college grade point average with a minimum of 20 college level hours completed.
• Copy of current valid LPN license
• Pass the LPN Proficiency Exam and LPN Dosage Calculation Exam. Upon achieving the required score on these exams, the LPN is granted 21 transfer credit hours.
